You might think Qwyke, pronounced “k-why-k”, is a strange name for a social media platform. The name Qwyke means happiness. The founder’s autistic daughter used this made up word as a toddler to indicate laughter, happiness and positivity, and that is where the name and ethos of the platform stems from.
About Our Business Model
Unlike other social media platforms that rely on income by harvesting your data for advertising, Qwyke is funded by paying subscribers. This would mean less revenue, but, for the Qwyke community, a better social media platform with a focus on positivity.
Guest Access
There is free guest access in order for you to get the feel for our social media platform, but posting will be restricted. There are no restrictions on paid accounts.
Business Advertising
Although we don’t take any revenue for businesses advertising, you can have a business page, and then it is up to the community to share your business page through growth and natural recommendations.
